About Mindy

  I am 40.

I love my husband.  He is a stay at home Dad, has great faith, cooks all our food and generally makes my life work.  He’s my best friend.

I adore my daughters. My eldest is ten years old and she loves that she frequently beats me at chess. But not always.   My youngest is three.  She gives the best hugs and loves books just like her mama.   Nelson Mandela says that a good head and a good heart are a formidable combination.  That reminds me of my girls.

I trust my dad. I love my mama.  She is hilarious.  I love my church, my country, my book club and my friends.  I love trees.  I am fiercely loyal.  I sing the wrong lyrics to songs.   The stamps in my passport are my most prized possessions.    I  hope to turn out like my Grandmother.  She was unpretentious, loved Jesus, loved her family and could make me laugh.  I pray my daughters turns out like her too.

    Awww Mindy,

I turned 35 in 2010 as well, I love trees, and my husband is my best friend! My boys keep me on my toes as well! Reading your blogs make me want to get back into blogging for my family! I too wonder if I bore. I tend to over share. Thank you for being you and being true!!! I love you!

I love your blog Mindy. You are and always have been such a strong, creative, amazing woman. I’ve always been blessed to call you friend. Sometimes I think about blogging, but life seems to move forward so fast, it’s hard to put on the brakes and reflect. Pausing to capture moments of our journey is healthy and so sweet when written well. Our God is an awesome God and what talents He has given us all! Thanks for sharing one of yours.
    Love you,

  4. The new blog set up is beautiful! I love the pictures. Your friend did an amazing job! 🙂
